Patrick Rudy Costello, 66, of Lehighton, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 in his residence surrounded by his family after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Deborah Ann (Smith) Costello. They celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary on June 12th of last year. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Esteban and Marina (Rodrigues) Costello. He was employed by the former NJ Zinc Company in Palmerton working in the furnace department, worked for Strick Company in Mahoning Twp., and then worked as Pest Control Technician for Terminix and Orkin for 25 years until retiring in 2024. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Viking and NASCAR but especially loved the time spent with his dog Aegon and playing cards with his grandchildren. Pat always like to have a good time and was always the life of the party.

Surviving along with his wife are a daughter Steffony Costello and her companion Robert Wolfe of Bowmanstown; a son Patrick R. Costello Jr. and his wife Jemima of Lehighton; brothers Steve Costello and his wife Cathy of Chambersburg, PA and Robert Costello of Beaver Meadows, PA; and grandchildren Damian Costello and his companion Megan Heil, Simon Costello, and Selena Costello.

A Visitation will be held Monday, February 16, 2026 from 5-7:00 P.M. in the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. 4th St., Lehighton, PA 18250. A Memorial Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
